With more than 20 years in high-risk obstetrics, infertility, gynecologic surgery and urogynecology, Dr. Ranae Yockey brings a wealth of advanced skills as well as a warm and comforting touch to her practice.  Dr. Yockey believes in empowering the patient to be an active participant in her healthcare needs. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, Dr. Yockey has been practicing in the Chicagoland area for the majority of her career.  Dr. Yockey received her doctorate degree in 1991 from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mercy Hospital in Chicago.  Dr. Yockey served as the Administrative Chief residency in 1995-1996 and was awarded the Laparoscopic Surgery Award.  Dr. Yockey has advanced training in gynecologic and urogynecologic surgery, and is certified in robot assisted surgeries to perform minimally invasive surgery.  She is also trained through Loyola University’s Sexual Dysfunction Clinic and is a certified therapist in sexual dysfunction counseling. In addition to educating and caring for her patients, Dr. Yockey also lectures on various women’s health issues in the surrounding communities.  Dr. Yockey is an active member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Illinois State Medical Society, the Chicago Medical Society and the Chicago Gynecological Society.
